Changes and The MT Ironstag Show is Back!

April 25, 2008

Well, I haven’t made a post since February, so I thought I’d update this chronicle of my pathetic life.

I have decided to stay in Tucson for a little while longer. I’m going to take some more classes and try and get involved with school again. I got a little scared because today is my birthday. I am now 22 years of age. I realized that I really wanted to get a degree to have something to fall back on rather than moving straight to New York without any degree or back-up plan. So, I’m going to stay in Tucson for awhile longer, as much as it pains me. I am going to be moving out of my house though and into an apartment with a couple of my actor friends, so that’s exciting.

Also, David and I have brought back The MT Ironstag Show. We started an internet-radio and podcast show back in December 2005 and in October of 2007, we decided to take a hiatus because both of our lives were getting pretty hectic. However, a couple weeks ago, we decided to bring the show back and to get a little more organized and we set up a feed for a podcast version of the show as well as a 2000 listener SHOUTcast server for our live show that will broadcast every Sunday from 10:30 PM EST – 1:00 AM EST. During the live show, I record everything and I release it as a podcast on Monday for listeners who can’t listen or are in strange timezones (that means you TastyWheat all the way in Australia!).

It is quite a vulger show, and is not for those who are offended easy, or those under the age of…say…30, but it is fun and we’ve set up a call-in number for those who want to call in during our live show. Here are a few ways to check out the show.

Anyway, to get back to me staying in town (yes, I know this is going to be long and drawn out, but it’s my birthday and it’s 1 in the morning). I’m not all sad because I will be closer to my family as well as my  brother and his family so I’ll be able to see my niece grow up some more and she’ll be able to develop some memories of me because I would move away, which is pretty important to me. Also, I will be able to develop some more projects with my brother whenever he isn’t busy, which is something I wanted to continue doing.

So all-in-all, I think that staying here in Tucson for awhile longer isn’t all negative. I just hope I can survive another one of these horrible summers.

Anyway, good nights, good luck, and watch out for those psychedelic bats. We’re in their country now.
